Combining new aircraft that posess improved efficiencies with fleet purchase contracts that require maintenance be provided by the manuafacturer for a set period severely reduces the need for an airline to outsource heavy maintenance.

The way MRO business is conducted and procurred has changed, and this change will be enduring. Technology is both enhancing and confining the marketing of MRO services.
Obstacles
