Introduction
Welcome to the Pekamco Human Resources Center. Prospective job applicants should study the following information so that they can be better informed about Pekamco's personnel needs, job descriptions, corporate structure, training programs, and most importantly, the job application process.
1. Corporate Structure, Work Scope, Job Descriptions, and Training
Pekamco has a lot to do, and we need to complete our team of qualified and motivated members to get it done. Below is a chart of our corporate structure, designated by levels (L0, L1, L2, L3, L4).

2. The Application Process
Please read and follow the following steps:
1. Resume: Please prepare an email and attach your resume/CV.
2. Video: Please make a simple three- to five-minute, self-introduction video (see below for details), upload onto www.youku.com or www.youtube.com, and send us the link via your application email pointing to where the video is display and/or can be downloaded from. Any usual format is fine.
3. Email: Address your email to bizcontact@pekamco.com with a subject line formatted as such: job applied for + your name + tel. # + client name (applicable for account manager applicants, stating the accounts you want to handle, for example: "PIA" or "Aeroflot," etc. Sample: Subject: Account manager + Tom Jones + 186-1234-5678 + Nepal Airlines)
4. Application fee: You will be sent an application fee invoice (explanation follows), which when paid, starts Pekamco's application processing procedure. L4 level or above positions (shown on the chart above), will be charged an application/training fee, starting at US$40. You will be notified how to pay via Paypal. There is no fee charged for L5 or lower applicants (training is fee free), or for independent contractors.
More Details about the Video
To help us get to know you better, we'd like to ask you to provide us with a simple three- to five-minute video introducing yourself. You can talk about your previous work experience, notable projects, your university major(s), professional qualification(s) and skills, something about your personality and uniqueness, what type of work you'd like to do at Pekamco, etc. You could insert still pictures and possibly video clips that show more about your previous work. If not using English when speaking or narrating, please add English subtitles.
Why an Application fee?
Pekamco is serious about hiring serious applicants. Due to the nature of our work, we must ensure that those we hire for mission-critical work are qualified, documented, and certified in their skillsets—and most importantly, teachable.
Charging a small service fee serves two purposes:
One, it separates the serious applicants from the merely curious. Pekamco HR is looking for a pool of applicants made up of those who want to work for Pekamco, and these are the ones we want to spend our time and resources processing. However, we certainly welcome inquiries. (See contact information below.)
The second purpose of an application fee is that processing applications is time consuming and expensive. Your payment helps cover about 20% of our costs of such things as verifying legal documents, background checks, a 10-hour orientation/training course, examination fees, internal processes associated with hiring, etc.
Of course, if you are not yet ready to start your application and training program by submitting your documents and paying the application/training, documentation, and processing fee, we understand ... and we encourage you to take your time to decide what the next step in your future will be.

Please note, that there is no application fee for independent contractors bidding on Pekamco projects.

3. The Pekamco Employee and Contractor Mailing List
The mailing list is for the dispensing of project information, RFPs, and other job-related notifications. Subscription is open to approved job applicants (those who made the three- to five-minute introduction video and made the application payment mentioned above, have submitted copies of picture ID, verified their email address, and submitted the NDA/NCA agreement) and contractors (those notified they are eligible) only, and is moderated by Pekamco HR. Remember to put add the domain name (Pekamco.com) to the exception list of your spam filter—and check your junk mailbox just in case.
